M Shahidul Islam Khondaker is with around 8 years of experience in academic research and teaching. Currently, he is serving as a Lecturer at the General Education Department (GED), University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is also pursuing his PhD at the Department of History, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Before that, Shahidul studied Master of Arts at the Department of History, University of Malaya, Malaysia. Earlier, Shahidul completed his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and achieved Masters’ degree from the same department and university. As Director-Project Development, he worked for a social research organization, the Research and Development Collective (RDC), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has been engaged in several academic and social research projects. He has written a book on genocide history entitled ‘Chuti Khan Digi Gonohotya” (Genocide in Chuti Khan Digi) that is related to the liberation war of Bangladesh, and some of his articles have been published in various peer-reviewed research journals.
