Ahmed Sharif has 12 years of experience in the field of archaeological research, particularly in “field archaeology”. He has been teaching at ULAB for last five years. Apart from teaching, he has conducted many archaeological survey programs and participated several archaeological excavation programs in various parts of Bangladesh. He also has experience in providing hands on experience to the undergraduate and graduate students in the field of archaeology. Along with his teaching position, he has also been assigned as Research Associate at Center for Archaeological Studies (CAS), ULAB. Currently he is conducting research on archaeology of early medieval north Bengal and archaeology of Dhaka.
